Working with Nate Development
Good questions.
Clear starting points.
Answers to common questions about commercial scopes, pricing, materials, scheduling, and working together.
Scope & project fit
Every agreement begins with defined responsibilities.
Does Nate manufacture or build cabinets?
No. Nate Development installs cabinets and casework manufactured by others. Our cabinet service focuses on layout, field fit, attachment, hardware adjustments, and coordination with countertops and adjoining trades.
Which services can be included?
Our focus includes cabinetry, countertops, storage, tile, millwork, multi-scope installation, commercial interior buildouts, renovation, flooring, and FF&E. Product-specific requirements and related trades are confirmed during scope review.
Do you work directly for owners or under a general contractor?
We review both types of inquiries. The project’s design status, scope, and contracting structure determine the appropriate role.
Can you install owner-purchased cabinets?
Yes. Send the cabinet manufacturer, approved layout, product schedule, quantities, and delivery information. The installation quote identifies the site responsibilities and coordination with the countertop and other trades.
What is a shop drawing?
A shop drawing describes the supplied product and its intended layout, dimensions, and details. Cabinet and millwork suppliers provide this information for the project approval process. Nate uses the approved documents to coordinate installation.
What is an installation-ready area?
It is an area meeting the prerequisites for the specific work: access, supporting construction, preceding trade completion, material availability, and required site conditions. The exact criteria depend on the selected product and project scope.
How are missing supplied parts handled?
The item should be identified by room, product, and supplier so a replacement can be arranged. The project team assigns purchasing or supplier follow-up and coordinates any necessary installation return visit.
Can we request doors, hardware, accessories, or related demolition?
Include those items with product schedules and drawings for review. Specialty products, code-sensitive assemblies, removals, and licensed trades need clear responsibilities before they are included.
What areas do you serve?
Nate Development is based in New Braunfels and focuses on San Antonio, Austin, and Central Texas. Statewide opportunities are reviewed based on scope, duration, logistics, and availability.
Pricing & planning
What should we send for a bid?
Send project location, current plans, specifications, quantities, requested scopes, material responsibilities, schedule, and bid deadline. Existing-condition photos are helpful for renovations.
Who supplies materials?
Nate installs cabinets made by the selected supplier or manufacturer. Indicate which products are owner- or contractor-supplied. Delivery, unloading, storage, installation, and supplier corrections are assigned in the proposal.
Can you commit to our schedule?
We review the required dates alongside scope, product availability, work-area readiness, access, and current capacity. Dates are confirmed through the project agreement.
Can you price from photos alone?
Photos help establish the initial conversation. Final pricing may require dimensions, site review, specified products, and complete scope details.
Qualification & closeout
Where do we send prequalification requirements?
Email the checklist, procurement contact, and deadline to [email protected]. We review what is required and coordinate the appropriate private document channel.
What about safety, insurance, and certifications?
Requirements and current documentation are reviewed directly for each opportunity. This website does not substitute for the buyer’s verification and qualification process.
How are final details handled?
The team reviews the agreed work, records remaining items, and coordinates corrections and any outstanding materials. Contract-specific closeout documents and warranty responsibilities are defined for the project.
Are all website images completed Nate projects?
The project gallery identifies supplied installation-detail photographs retouched for presentation. Other architectural images illustrate the types of spaces and finishes discussed; they are conceptual visuals.
